Dr. Ganesh Babu specializes in medical Glaucoma, Paediatric Eye Care, Binocular Vision, and Vision Therapy, in addition to community eye health & primary eye care.

With over 17 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ganesh has an extensive background in academic training, research, and clinical practice. He holds a doctorate (PhD) in medical sciences from the University of New South Wales in Australia, which focuses on glaucoma. He is an active researcher, with 36 peer-reviewed articles published around the world. Before joining the School of Medical Sciences as an Assistant Professor in August 2022, he worked as a Clinical Data Scientist at LV Prasad Eye Institute and a clinical literature review specialist at Alcon Global Services.
